Celebrate National Fish & Chip Day 2026 at The Bishops Mill!

You can enjoy a delicious portion of freshly battered fish and chips with classic mushy peas or tasty baked beans any day of the week at The Bishops’ Mill – but there’s no better day to indulge than National Fish & Chip Day on Friday 5th June 2026!

As the UK’s biggest fish-and-chip shop, in the past 10 years, the company’s pubs have served more than 10 million fish and chip meals. Wetherspoon’s traditional meal of freshly battered fish and chips continues as one of the menu’s most popular dishes.

At The Bishops’ Mill, this classic pub meal is available every day of the week as both a regular and a small portion. Wetherspoon’s afternoon deal lets you pick up this customer favourite from Monday to Friday, 2pm-5pm with a drink from just £6.99

All cod served at The Bishops’ Mill has been caught by fishermen in fisheries which have been certified as sustainable. Wetherspoon’s chips are made from British potatoes by long-term partner McCain; every portion of Wetherspoon’s British potato chips has been sourced from more than 250 Red Tractor-assured farms across the UK. There are no artificial colours or flavours added – and every potato has traceability right back to the farmer and the exact field where that potato started.
