We’re joining with Smooth Radio and Arriva North East in welcoming the Arriva Claw to Walkergate on Saturday 23rd August to give Durham families the opportunity to win fantastic family days out this summer!
Every year, families across the region can enjoy free family fun days featuring summer crafts, balloon artists, and a go on the infamous Arriva Claw. And with Arriva North East, it’s easy for everyone to travel as Kids Go Free all day, every day between July 19th and August 31st 2025 with a fare-paying adult.
The Arriva Claw challenges visitors to test their arcade skills to be in with the chance of winning some exciting prizes – including family days out at some of the North East’s top attractions from Flamingo Land to The Alnwick Garden.
Visit Walkergate in Durham city centre on August 23rd and pay a visit to the Claw to throw your hat into the ring and try your luck, and you could walk away with one of these amazing prizes there and then!
