This October, County Durham’s beloved light show and artwork installation Luxmuralis will be returning to light up the region for a third year running.
Luxmuralis 2024 will be taking place at Durham Cathedral from Wednesday 9th October until Sunday 13th October, with this year’s installation entitled “Space.” Over five days, visitors from all around the region will get to venture through different galaxies and experience original footage of a rocket launch via mesmerising light projections.
The artwork will be projected throughout the interiors of the cathedral, creating an immersive experience like no other.
Times & Prices
Space by Luxmuralis will be running from Wednesday 9th-Sunday 13th October. On Wednesday 9th-Saturday 12th, the event will take place from 6:45-9:15 pm, and 6:30 pm-9 pm on Sunday 13th.
Tickets are on sale at £11 for adults and £5.00 for children (under 18). Special offer tickets will be available Wednesday 9th October and 10th October from 8:15 pm until 9:15 pm. Head to the Durham Cathedral website to purchase your tickets.
