Smooth Radio is helping Adopt Coast to Coast create quite the buzz around fostering and adoption this October at Walkergate for National Adoption Week 2025!
On Thursday 23rd October 2025, Walkergate Durham will welcome the fine folks from Smooth Radio North East and Adopt Coast to Coast to talk all things adoption with visitors to the city centre.
National Adoption Week is the UK’s annual campaign to raise awareness of adoption and bust myths surrounding who is eligible. It’s delivered by Adoption England in partnership with regional adoption agencies across the county, with support from the Department of Education.
Adopt Coast to Coast, the regional adoption agency in Durham, Sunderland and Cumbria, has teamed up with Smooth Radio to get the word out about adoption – who can adopt, the process of adoption, and the impact adoption can have on Looked After Children across the region.
