The crowds descended on Walkergate for Streets of Brass – Durham Brass Festival’s programme of live performances taking place across the city centre.
On July 18th and 19th, Walkergate was delighted to welcome a plethora of local, national, and international brass musicians for the weekend. From contemporary brass ensembles to high octane genre-blending performances, there really was something for every taste in the heart of Durham!
Streets of Brass was a much more colourful display than anticipated…
These weren’t your typical brass bands – think rock ‘n’ roll classics and dance hits!
It was almost impossible to sit still while the music played!
Walkergate would like to thank all of the musicians who made Streets of Brass a roaring success, and to all the guests who joined in with the bands – it really was an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
