The Art of Giving Back: Wreath making profits go to Durham Food Bank

‘Tis the season to give back at the Champagne Bar by Ebony in Walkergate. On December 7th and again on 14th, the bar will host a wreath making and afternoon tea event in the name of raising money for charity.

Loved ones got together to celebrate the festive season, the art of giving back and the learning of a new skill. Those who attended were guided by expert florists who supported them in crafting stunning wreaths to take home and hang up for the Christmas period.

As a result of the wreath making event, a total of £800 was raised and donated by Walkergate and the Champagne Bar to the Durham Food Bank. The £800 will aid The Trussell Trust in providing emergency food and support to the local community who are in need this winter.

The Trussell Trust provides a nationwide network of food banks, emergency food and support to people in poverty. Learn more about what they do and how you can support them here.
