Walkergate is a Loud and Proud Sponsor of Durham Pride

Durham Pride is back and better than ever this May!

This year, Durham Pride will be celebrating its 11 year anniversary of bringing love and light to the North East region, and Walkergate is proud to be an official main sponsor. Walkergate has been a long time sponsor of Durham Pride, and it’s great to be supporting it for another year.

At Walkergate, we are committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for everybody. With this in mind, we are honoured to be an official sponsor of the Durham Pride Parade for another year running. Equality and diversity is crucial for creating a more inclusive society, and we are proud supporters of pride and the LGBTQ+ community.

Pride will take place across Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th May, and is set to be the biggest celebration the city of Durham has ever seen. Sunday’s Pride Parade will start at 12:30pm, with a march from Durham Cathedral, passing through Walkergate to the Sand’s Field. Those attending will hold their pride flags proudly as they walk through the city centre.
