Walkergate can’t wait to welcome Durham Pride 2026 to the heart of the city this May!
As a longtime sponsor of this annual event in Durham city centre, Walkergate looks forward to this fun-filled day of celebration and acceptance every year.
Taking place on Saturday 30th May 2026, the Durham Pride Parade will make its way from Palace Green by the iconic Durham Cathedral, through the city centre towards Walkergate, before ending at The Sands. This year’s big celebration will feature performances from Adam Rickitt, Gareth Gates, and a headline slot from Steps legend Claire Richards.
Walkergate Durham’s 24/7 underground car park is perfectly positioned right next to the main Durham Pride event location at The Sands, providing affordable, secure parking for anyone taking part in the annual parade.
Plus with plenty of drinking and dining establishments at Walkergate, Durham Pride 2026 attendees can find friendly faces across all our venues – whether you’re looking for a bite to eat or a relaxing drink with friends away from the hustle and bustle of the main event.
