This August Bank Holiday Monday, the Durham Classic Car Show 2026 will descend upon the historic city centre, displaying hundreds of classic cars across Durham.
Since its inaugural event in 2018, it has become a mainstay of Durham’s event calendar. From Elvet Bridge to Palace Green, visitors to the city can experience a fantastic free display of heritage cars, learn more about the vintage vehicles and their owners, all while enjoying everything Durham has to offer.

While you take in the extraordinary display of wheels on show, make sure you take care of your own motor! Walkergate’s secure underground car park is located just a stone’s throw from a major classic car gathering space at Market Place. From here, venture into the city on foot to enjoy everything the classic car show has to offer.
